چکیده
Chemical pretreatment can significantly improve the enzymatic hydrolysis efficiency of lignocellulosic biomass, thereby improving yield sugar materials for production cellulosic ethanol, but commonly used acid–base catalysts are difficult to recover and reuse. In this work, a combination method liquid hot water (LHW) phosphotungstic acid (PTA) was performed saccharification rice straw, we attempted evaluate reuse effect PTA catalysts. The straw first treated with LHW at 180 °C 90 min, then 20 mM 130 60 min. After pretreatment, cellulose glucose recovery increased by 201.85% 164.25%, respectively. Glucose accounted 96.8% total reducing in final hydrolysate. each approximately 70.8–73.2% catalyst could be recycled. Moreover, catalytic activity that had been five times did not decrease. improved attributed removal 89.24% hemicellulose 21.33% lignin from substrate. two-step LHW-PTA pretreat biomass field ethanol production.

Effects of sodium carbonate pretreatment on the chemical compositions and enzymatic saccharification of rice straw.
The effects of sodium carbonate (Na(2)CO(3)) pretreatment on the chemical compositions and enzymatic saccharification of rice straw were investigated. The enzymatic digestibility of rice straw is enhanced after pretreatment since pretreated solids show significant delignification with high sugar availability. During pretreatment, an increasing temperature and Na(2)CO(3) charge leads to enhanced...
متن کاملStudy of chemical pretreatment and enzymatic saccharification for producing fermentable sugars from rice straw.
This study evaluated a cost-effective approach for the conversion of rice straw into fermentable sugars. The composition of rice straw pretreated with 1 % sulfuric acid or 1 % sodium hydroxide solution was compared to rice straw with no chemical pretreatment. Enzymatic saccharification experiments on non-pretreated rice straw (NPRS), pretreated rice straw (PRS), and pretreated rice straw with a...

The efficiency of two biomass pretreatment technologies, dilute acid hydrolysis and dissolution in an ionic liquid, are compared in terms of delignification, saccharification efficiency and saccharide yields with switchgrass serving as a model bioenergy crop. When subject to ionic liquid pretreatment (dissolution and precipitation of cellulose by anti-solvent) switchgrass exhibited reduced cell...

Combined Mechanical Destruction and Alkaline Pretreatment of Wheat Straw for Enhanced Enzymatic Saccharification
Wheat straw was pretreated by combined mechanical destruction and alkaline pretreatments to enhance enzymatic saccharification. Four strategies were employed to evaluate the potential of wheat straw as a feedstock for fermentable sugar production. The effects of the pretreatments on the substrate morphology, size distribution, chemical composition, and cellulose crystallinity, along with the su...
